Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review & Ingredients

Time to review another aloe vera product, this time the Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist. Mists and sprays can be an excellent addition to the skincare routine and help maintain the skin moisturized and nourished throughout the day. This specific product has helped me a lot during the colder months because heating makes the air very dry and the skin requires more care apart from morning and evening skincare routine. My skin is combination and very sensitive, so I often use aloe vera-based products, such as Missha Aloe Gel I’ve posted about recently. I also will talk in-depth about all the ingredients of this product to make sure that it doesn’t contain anything that can potentially dry or irritate the skin. Let’s start the review!

5 Game-Changing Korean Skincare Strategies That Have Transformed My Skincare Routine

K-beauty has definitely boomed worldwide in recent years. A decade ago I couldn’t get any Korean skincare products in stores and even online it was pretty difficult, while today I can order even one item from a K-beauty store based in Seoul and it’ll be delivered to my doorstep within 2 weeks and get a bunch of free samples on top of that (see my Jolse K-beauty store unboxing & review #1, #2). Btw, my blog doesn’t contain any sponsored posts/affiliate links – all of my content is just me sharing my experience & thoughts.

When I first got curious about K-beauty, I’ve read a lot of different reviews, starting from ones that praised the ususual yet miracle-making ingredients like snail slime and ending with horror stories about how Korean skincare is truly only good long-term for Asian skin because different ethnicities have different skin processes (the proof that this is a goofy idea is what I see in the mirror every day).

Long story short, as K-beauty grew immensely popular and easily accesible, I’ve discovered a lot of different skincare strategies that have completely transformed my own skincare routine. I can’t say with 100% confidence that these strategies are inherently Korean, but K-beauty information universe is where I found them. Now without further ado, let’s get right into it!

12 Common and Not-So-Common Ways To Use Aloe Vera Gel

In my previous post about the MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel Review & Analysis of ALL Ingredients I mentioned I’d tell more about how I use aloe vera gels in my skincare, so this is what this post is all about!

Aloe vera gel is definitely a staple in my skincare product arsenal – you’ll see why when you read this post. The ways to use aloe vera gels are numerous thanks to the amazing skin healing and rejuvenating properties of aloe vera plant juice and extracts as well as the lightweight texture of the product. Let’s get started!

MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel Review & Analysis of ALL Ingredients

***This gel has another variation – MISSHA Premium Cica Aloe Soothing Gel. The ingredients are same except for that Cica Aloe Gel contains Centella Asiatica Extract.

I love aloe vera – both the plant and as ingredient in skincare products. I’ve used the juice of aloe vera plant to cure everything from tiny wounds to skin rashes and chemical burns. In my experience, there’s just nothing better for my skin than the real aloe vera plant juice. However, I currently don’t have the plant at home and when I did have it, I needed a whole leaf for only few days of use on a small area. This means that I’d have to chop aloe vera plant regularly to use it as skincare product. This is why I turned to Korean aloe vera gels – they are convenient to use and often contain additional ingredients that are good for skin.
I’ve tried many of them, including Nature Republic, Holika Holika, and the SAEM, but this post is about the gel I’m currently using and have been using for the past 8 months – MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel. My skin type is sensitive and I’m very prone to different irritations & allergies. This gel is 95% aloe vera leaf juice, but what about the other 5%? In this post I’ve analyzed ALL ingredients of this gel, so you’ll know for sure whether it’s safe or not. Let’s start!

JOLSE K-Beauty Unboxing & Review #1

As you might know from my previous posts, I’m a big fan of Korean skincare – it just fits my skin, while European and American skincare usually causes irritation (even such brands as Vichy, which is supposed to be extremely suitable for sensitive skin). In Europe it’s often hard to find Korean skincare and makeup at reasonable prices or at all, which is why I usually opt for overseas e-shops, such as iHerb and now Jolse. I have to point out that I’m not affiliated with these companies and just a regular customer sharing my experience.
