Hello beauties 💖 🌼 Today I’ve decided to focus on a bit more personal topic and share the things I wish I stopped sooner. It surely feels damn good to realize that I was able to make the changes I’ll talk about, and yet sometimes I’m struggling to quit feeling regret about all the time and effort I’ve wasted doing these things! Without further ado, let’s get started!Continue reading “7 Things I Wish I Stopped Sooner”
After I’ve done elimination diet (you can read full post all about it here) I’ve found out that processed white sugar wreaks havoc on my body, especially when I eat a lot of it on a daily basis. My skin starts looking extremely dull and dehydrated, I get small irritation spots on my cheeks, develop sleep issues and fatigue, and gain water weight. Once I cut sugar out, I go back to normal within a week.
I won’t be talking about ‘avoiding’ or ‘cutting down’ on sugar and foods that are high in sugar – these ‘tips’ are frankly useless. ‘Stop drinking soda’ won’t help you – you know already that soda isn’t healthy. I’ll tell you my personal legit and practical strategies that really work for me and help me minimize sugar intake. As always, no bullsh*t here. Let’s start!Continue reading “How To Eat Less Sugar: My 5 Tried-And-True Strategies”
Autumn or Spring? Winter or Summer? In this post I won’t go into the seasonal color analysis, but will go back to basics – skin undertone and the overall coloring of the appearance. I’ve done my share of research on the seasonal color analysis and, unfortunately, I must admit that the information is abundant, but often doesn’t make any sense. In my opinion, one of the main issues are bad examples and bad definitions. Guessing celebrity coloring may be fun, but unless we’ve seen them in person without makeup, we can’t judge their real coloring at all – even the best cameras distort colors, and I won’t even start about Photoshop. Here I’ll share the things that always confused me when I tried to determine my skin undertone – what if they are holding you back as well? Let’s see!Continue reading “5 Things That Stopped Me From Learning My Skin Undertone & How I Fixed Them”
It happens to everyone – clothes just sitting in the wardrobe, sad, and almost never worn. It can be a couple of items or a whole bunch of them – it’s not the key issue about it. To me, it’s always been the feeling of frustration and guilt of witnessing all of my unsuccessful purchases not working for me, not giving me any value-per-wear, and being useless. The wardrobe graveyard is always a waste of money, time, and space. I’ve posted before about how capsule wardrobe didn’t work for me, so you can imagine that my wardrobe isn’t minimalistic at all – I like all kinds of items, which makes the issue even more frustrating because my items of clothing don’t go together very easily. Despite these challenges, I’ve come up with my own 5 strategies to keep the ‘wardrobe graveyard’ problem at bay. These strategies don’t involve dividing all the clothes into ‘yes’, ‘ no’, and ‘maybe’ piles or ‘if you haven’t worn an item over the past year, it has to go’, but practical long-term solutions. Let me share them with you, dear readers ❤️Continue reading “5 Ways How I Deal With The ‘Wardrobe Graveyard’”
In my previous post about the MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel Review & Analysis of ALL Ingredients I mentioned I’d tell more about how I use aloe vera gels in my skincare, so this is what this post is all about!

The ways to use aloe vera gels are numerous thanks to the amazing skin healing and rejuvenating properties of aloe vera plant juice and extracts as well as the lightweight texture of the product. You, whoever you are reading this, are amazing. And nope, I don’t mean it in a cheesy way – I truly believe that every person has something unique and valuable to offer to the world. I am convinced that everyone needs to embrace who they are and always compare themselves to themselves as they were yesterday – not other people.
I would be silly of me to deny the evolutionary benefit of comparing ourselves to others. As social animals, we learn all kinds of things by comparing ourselves to others, however when this natural reaction becomes the reason why you feel inferior to other people and lose faith in yourself, something needs to be done.
Here are 5 practical tips (can’t stand those ‘just try to focus on what you like about yourself’ advice) how to stop comparing yourself to others in a way that causes you stress and harms your confidence.Continue reading “How to Stop Comparing Yourself to Others: 5 Practical Tips”
As you might have guessed from the name of my blog, I love love love coffee! I’d like to make a small number of posts about my favorite desserts to have with coffee and this is the first post in this series. I also happen to love baking – it’s like meditation to me in a way. I love experimenting and just focusing on the ingredients whenever I feel like it. The recipes I usually make range from very time-consuming to literally 20-minute ones, and these cookies belong in this second category. I’ll describe all the details and guide you through the process, so let’s start!Continue reading “White Chocolate Cookies. My Absolute Favorite 20min Recipe!”
“The planet isn’t going anywhere – WE ARE” – George Carlin.
I truly find it fascinating that people passionately discuss the climate change and other issues, while taking no actual stance in their everyday decisions. I find it even more fascinating that some people consider it futile to make any effort at all because their input is miniscule compared to the outrageous externalities produced by large corporations. I am convinced that everyone who cares about the environemnt and our future has to do what they can – however small the change is! I am not advocating radical changes that are costly or difficult to implement. My post is about tiny little things that will let you reduce the amount of waste you produce. One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind!
No featured image for this post – I don’t mean any influencer in particular, but beauty YouTubers with big following as a whole. Not that long ago I stumbled upon an article titled ’10 beauty bloggers you MUST follow’ and it inspired me to write a whole post about it. Well, first of all, I am choosing my own heroes and people to be inspired by. I’ve just started blogging and I’ve already found so many awesome fellow bloggers who inspire me in such a genuine way (girls, you know who you are – I’m your new regular reader ❤️), that YouTube and Instagram simply fall short. Secondly, I’m all about no bullsh*t all day every day and seeing things as they are. Finally, I’m struggling to validate spending time watching this type of content when I can be investing it in something much more valuable. Warning: BRUTAL HONESTY!Continue reading “10 Reasons Why I Quit Watching Beauty YouTubers”
