How To Eat Less Sugar: My 5 Tried-And-True Strategies

After I’ve done elimination diet (you can read full post all about it here) I’ve found out that processed white sugar wreaks havoc on my body, especially when I eat a lot of it on a daily basis. My skin starts looking extremely dull and dehydrated, I get small irritation spots on my cheeks, develop sleep issues and fatigue, and gain water weight. Once I cut sugar out, I go back to normal within a week.

I won’t be talking about ‘avoiding’ or ‘cutting down’ on sugar and foods that are high in sugar – these ‘tips’ are frankly useless. ‘Stop drinking soda’ won’t help you – you know already that soda isn’t healthy. I’ll tell you my personal legit and practical strategies that really work for me and help me minimize sugar intake. As always, no bullsh*t here. Let’s start!

5 Things That Stopped Me From Learning My Skin Undertone & How I Fixed Them

Autumn or Spring? Winter or Summer? In this post I won’t go into the seasonal color analysis, but will go back to basics – skin undertone and the overall coloring of the appearance. I’ve done my share of research on the seasonal color analysis and, unfortunately, I must admit that the information is abundant, but often doesn’t make any sense. In my opinion, one of the main issues are bad examples and bad definitions. Guessing celebrity coloring may be fun, but unless we’ve seen them in person without makeup, we can’t judge their real coloring at all – even the best cameras distort colors, and I won’t even start about Photoshop. 5 Ways How I Deal With The ‘Wardrobe Graveyard’

It happens to everyone – clothes just sitting in the wardrobe, sad, and almost never worn. It can be a couple of items or a whole bunch of them – it’s not the key issue about it. To me, it’s always been the feeling of frustration and guilt of witnessing all of my unsuccessful purchases not working for me, not giving me any value-per-wear, and being useless. The wardrobe graveyard is always a waste of money, time, and space. I’ve posted before about how capsule wardrobe didn’t work for me, so you can imagine that my wardrobe isn’t minimalistic at all – I like all kinds of items, which makes the issue even more frustrating because my items of clothing don’t go together very easily. Despite these challenges, I’ve come up with my own 5 strategies to keep the ‘wardrobe graveyard’ problem at bay. These strategies don’t involve dividing all the clothes into ‘yes’, ‘ no’, and ‘maybe’ piles or ‘if you haven’t worn an item over the past year, it has to go’, but practical long-term solutions. 10 Reasons Why I Quit Watching Beauty YouTubers

No featured image for this post – I don’t mean any influencer in particular, but beauty YouTubers with big following as a whole. Not that long ago I stumbled upon an article titled ’10 beauty bloggers you MUST follow’ and it inspired me to write a whole post about it. Well, first of all, I am choosing my own heroes and people to be inspired by. I’ve just started blogging and I’ve already found so many awesome fellow bloggers who inspire me in such a genuine way (girls, you know who you are – I’m your new regular reader ❤️), that YouTube and Instagram simply fall short. Secondly, I’m all about no bullsh*t all day every day and seeing things as they are.
