“Heels and red lipstick will put the fear of God into people” – Dita Von Teese
“There is a shade of red for every woman” – Audrey Hepburn
Red lipstick is very iconic. Somehow it’s become so iconic that now it’s borderline intimidating to many women though. Some think that their lips are too thin for red lipstick or that the classic Old Hollywood style red lips just live a life of their own, separate from their face. Today I’ve decided to debunk all of these myths and give you solid ideas on how you can find your own shade and style of red lips. Let’s start!

Time to review another aloe vera product, this time the Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist. Mists and sprays can be an excellent addition to the skincare routine and help maintain the skin moisturized and nourished throughout the day. This specific product has helped me a lot during the colder months because heating makes the air very dry and the skin requires more care apart from morning and evening skincare routine. My skin is combination and very sensitive, so I often use aloe vera-based products, such as Missha Aloe Gel I’ve posted about recently. I also will talk in-depth about all the ingredients of this product to make sure that it doesn’t contain anything that can potentially dry or irritate the skin. Let’s start the review!

K-beauty has definitely boomed worldwide in recent years. A decade ago I couldn’t get any Korean skincare products in stores and even online it was pretty difficult, while today I can order even one item from a K-beauty store based in Seoul and it’ll be delivered to my doorstep within 2 weeks and get a bunch of free samples on top of that (see my Jolse K-beauty store unboxing & review #1, #2). Btw, my blog doesn’t contain any sponsored posts/affiliate links – all of my content is just me sharing my experience & thoughts.
When I first got curious about K-beauty, I’ve read a lot of different reviews, starting from ones that praised the ususual yet miracle-making ingredients like snail slime and ending with horror stories about how Korean skincare is truly only good long-term for Asian skin because different ethnicities have different skin processes (the proof that this is a goofy idea is what I see in the mirror every day).
Long story short, as K-beauty grew immensely popular and easily accesible, I’ve discovered a lot of different skincare strategies that have completely transformed my own skincare routine. I can’t say with 100% confidence that these strategies are inherently Korean, but K-beauty information universe is where I found them. Now without further ado, let’s get right into it!

In my previous post about the MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel Review & Analysis of ALL Ingredients I mentioned I’d tell more about how I use aloe vera gels in my skincare, so this is what this post is all about!
Aloe vera gel is definitely a staple in my skincare product arsenal – you’ll see why when you read this post. The ways to use aloe vera gels are numerous thanks to the amazing skin healing and rejuvenating properties of aloe vera plant juice and extracts as well as the lightweight texture of the product. Let’s get started!

***This gel has another variation – MISSHA Premium Cica Aloe Soothing Gel. The ingredients are same except for that Cica Aloe Gel contains Centella Asiatica Extract.

I love aloe vera – both the plant and as ingredient in skincare products. I’ve used the juice of aloe vera plant to cure everything from tiny wounds to skin rashes and chemical burns. In my experience, there’s just nothing better for my skin than the real aloe vera plant juice. However, I currently don’t have the plant at home and when I did have it, I needed a whole leaf for only few days of use on a small area. This means that I’d have to chop aloe vera plant regularly to use it as skincare product. This is why I turned to Korean aloe vera gels – they are convenient to use and often contain additional ingredients that are good for skin.
I’ve tried many of them, including Nature Republic, Holika Holika, and the SAEM, but this post is about the gel I’m currently using and have been using for the past 8 months – MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel. My skin type is sensitive and I’m very prone to different irritations & allergies. This gel is 95% aloe vera leaf juice, but what about the other 5%? In this post I’ve analyzed ALL ingredients of this gel, so you’ll know for sure whether it’s safe or not. Let’s start!
I generally have good experience with Scinic products, athough I haven’t tried that many of them. This cream is by far my favorite. Let’s get into the review!

Greetings! Finally I’m ready to tell you what I think about this cream. Some of the best skincare products I’ve found for my skin are Korean and decided to finally try Guerisson 9 Complex Cream. I live in Europe, so we’re in the middle of winter now – perfect timing to try such a nourishing face cream! I’ll tell you all about my skin type and how this cream performed over the course of 3 weeks of everyday use. I’ll also quickly mention how to check whether the product is original – I’ve seen several reviews online mentioning fakes. Let’s get started!

Last month I’ve run out of my BB cream (Holika Holika Petite BB Clearing – light blue tube), concealer, and cleanser, so it was pretty much written in the stars for me to place another order on Jolse (first order unboxing here). By the way, you can check out my review of the cleanser Holika Holika Daily Fresh Rice Cleansing Foam after around 8 months of everyday use – truly great product. I felt I could trust Jolse after my first order and hopefully their service won’t let me down in the future because by far it’s my favorite place to get Korean skincare and makeup from. I’m super excited to try out everything I ordered, so let’s start the unboxing!
