Holika Holika Daily Fresh Rice Cleansing Foam Review. Empties

Holika Holika Daily Fresh Rice Cleansing Foam Review After 8 Months Of Everyday Use. Finally finished it! Will review with all the nitty-gritty details. Let’s roll!

Right away, let me tell you my skin type and main concerns. I’m in my late 20s and my skin type is combination. My T-zone is normal to oily and my cheeks and chin are normal to dry. As a rule, the oiliness of my T-zone is aggravated by certain foundations, skincare products, and in the summer, but even then it’s just a bit of shine, so I wouldn’t call it oily. The cheeks and chin are usually normal to dry (sometimes very dry, especially during the colder months). I am allergic to some artifical colorants and fragrance in skincare products – usually my skin gets itchy and flare up, more rarely I can get rash. I also stay away from glycerin-based skincare, because it generally dries my skin out and causes dullness and flaking over time.

What I want from a cleanser: mild yet quality cleansing – deep cleaning to keep my pores clean in the long run, but not drying over time. No irritation is crucial.

Holika Holika Daily Fresh Rice Cleansing Foam Review

Price: $8.66 (checked on Jolse where I made an order recently)

Used for: 8 months, twice a day every day, traveled with it several times as well

Packaging: 150ml plastic squeezy tube:

Consistency: pearly and whipped, very smooth:

Scent: I feel very light and almost natural cherry tree flower scent. It doesn’t linger on the skin after washing the foam off.

Effect: it foams very well and is very gentle on the skin. I have to say though that if it gets into the eyes or open wounds (e.g. after acne) then it stings the tiniest bit. I apply it on the skin and massage for a minute or two and then rinse with lukewarm water. The foam leaves the skin smooth and moisturized. I’ve used it during the summer (when my T-zone is often oily) and winter (when my skin is mainly dry/normal) and my skin has remained very soft all these months – it hasn’t dried a bit. I don’t have serious wrinkle issues, so I can’t tell if this foam really helps (only a foam isn’t enough to make a difference of course), but the fact that this foam leaves skin very clean, but moisturized, is a good advantage.

I’m usually using it either alone or as a part of my double cleansing with Holika Holika Soda Cleansing Oil I reviewed not so long ago (or after micellar water) – works 100% both ways.

Efficiency: pea-sized amount is enough to clean my whole face and neck. Truly lasts very long and value-to-price ratio is high.

Repurchase? 100% yes, because it’s a safe bet

Recommend? I can recommend this cleansing foam. It’s good for even dry skin and sensitive skin. After using it all up I can tell for sure that it’s one of the best ones I’ve used.

See you in my next post,

Alex
